Eminent American horticulturist and researcher (1849–1926) credited with developing hundreds of plant varieties and hybrids, including the spineless cactus, the Shasta daisy, and the Burbank potato. Vintage sepia 3.75 x 6 cardstock photo of Burbank reading by some of his beloved cacti, signed in the bottom border in ink, “Sincerely, Luther Burbank.” In fine condition, with trimmed edges and light mounting remnants on the reverse. Accompanied by a rare unsigned photograph of cacti.
