Italian dramatist, novelist, and short story writer (1867-1936) awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1934. Signed book: Zivot, Ketert Jsem Ti Dala. First edition in Czech. Prague: Aventinum, 1926. Hardcover, 5.25 x 8.5, 49 pages. Signed and inscribed on the half-title page, (translated): “To Ms. Eva Kvapil as a souvenir. Luigi Pirandello. Prague. 12/16/1926.” An additional page bearing a vintage photo of Pirandello has been tipped in before the half-title page. In fine condition, with uniform shade of toning to pages and both pastedowns.
