Luftwaffe Technical Officer's Visor Cap. The cap is an approx. size 57 and is made of blue/gray wool, with a black, ribbed mohair center band and silver/aluminum wire piping. The cap features hand embroidered, silver/aluminum wire wings,wreath and cockade, and a die struck Luftwaffe technical eagle and cogwheel cap insignia. The chin cords are made of silver/aluminum wire, and are held in place via two pebble finish aluminum side buttons, which are sewn to the sides of thecap. The visor is made of thin, black fiber with edge trim, and a green cross hatched underside, with a slight crack on the visor's left side. It is lined with golden silk lining, however the celluloid sweat shield is missing. The sweatbandis made of beige leather and is solid with some light edge wear. There is one small period repair to the top, right side of the cap. The overall condition is very good, with light to moderate wear from period use Est $600 - $1,200
