Original October 25, 1935 edition of The New York Sun, 17 x 22.5, 46 pages. Front page bears a headline which reads, "Police Question Schultz's Widow; Body Is Brought Here From Newark," with a small portrait of Luciano stating he is the "object of police search." In very good condition, with edge and corner chips and tears, uniform light toning, and a bit of paper loss to edges. 'Dutch' Schultz had planned on murdering Special Prosecutor Thomas Dewey, with Luciano and his 'Commission' ordering Schultz to drop his plans. When plans were put in motion to kill Dewey, Luciano instead arranged Schultz's murder in a Newark, New Jersey, tavern.
