DESCRIPTION:
Lucie Lambert - Original Woodblock Print #16/45 Titled: Les Cerises - Signed and Dated: '95. Framed in what appears to be the original hand-carved wood frame behind glass.
About the Artist: Lambert has grown throughout her career, beginning with a bachelor of arts degree at the Université Laval in Sainte-Foy, in 1968. She furthered her artistic training, and her knowledge of printmaking in particular, in 1975, at the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she also discovered the tradition of the artist's book. Lambert went on to study in Europe, where she specialized in printmaking. While living in Paris from 1980 to 1983, Lambert was introduced to Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, which proved to be a turning point in her art. Upon returning to Canada in 1983, she settled in Vancouver and studied sculpture and jewellery making with Haida artist Bill Reid.
CONDITION:
Very Fine - Excellent Condition. Print has been well preserved behind glass in frame. Signed, titled and dated in pencil.

THE MUMBLING MUSE provides economical in-house packing & shipping services as a convenience to bidders. and has extensive experience shipping antiques, collectibles and fine art worldwide.
THE MUMBLING MUSE maintains a highly specialized cargo insurance policy, particularly tailored for the shipment of antiques, collectibles and fine art. Specialized outbound shipping insurance at full value (hammer price + premium) is provided with all purchases. Items of significant value (Over $5000 CAD) or items requiring specialty custom crating, oversized etc. may be referred to a 3rd party professional shipper at our discretion.
HOW SHIPPING COSTS ARE CALCULATED - THE MUMBLING MUSE charges a small handling fee per order to help offset the cost of labour, insurance and premium packaging materials ($2.00 per $100.00 to a maximum fee of $50.00 per order) which is added to the ‘actual’ cost of the shipping label.
