James Calhoun Signature</B></I> “<I>James Calhoun</B></I>”. 6” x 1”, clipped from a military document dated 1875, in near fine condition. 1st Lieutenant James Calhoun was killed at the Battle of Little Big Horn, June 26, 1876. Though legend has it he died at Custer's side, in fact it is believed he died about a mile away with the members of the company he commanded.
