Lot of four (4) tokens. 1.) Lr. 990. White metal. 31.0mm. 10.00g. Holed at 12 o’clock. LeRoux noted that this was “For Sanford of Hamilton.” XF. 2.) Lr. 994, Breton-614. Brass. 32.2mm. 10.52g. Reportedly 1,000 of these R.W. Williams tokens were struck as advertising pieces for circulation in Trois-Rivères, but only 400 were distributed. This example is toned with faint evidence of a partial print. AU. 3.) Lr. 996n. Aluminum. 28.4mm. 2.73. A souvenir of the First Territorial Exhibition of 1895 in Regina, struck by Pritchard & Andrews of Ottawa. Totally brilliant and sharp. AU-Unc. 4.) Lr. 997a. Aluminum. 27.9mm. 2.74g. Signed PRITCHARD & ANDREWS - OTTAWA. Brilliant with light abrasions but otherwise Unc. Ex: Dr. Gregory G. Brunk Collection (Rich Hartzog, 11/2006), lot 645.
