This extensive survey of the early history of Holland, Zeeland and Frisia until 1517 was a decisive influence on later descriptions of medieval Holland. The 1530 supplement was taken from Doesborch's "Cronike van Brabant, Vlaenderen, Hollant, Zeelant", published simultaneously (June 1530). As usual without the world map (present in only 2 of the 74 copies recorded: Groningen and Nijmegen). Title printed in red and black. Text printed in 2 columns. II: Large woodcut portrait of Charles V on titlepage. With the often lacking double-page woodcut illustration of the Siege of Vienna. Bookplates of J.W. Six and Paul Menso. Ref.
