This French bas relief plaque is in good condition, except for some minor chipping of plaster and paint. It is hard to tell the age of these, but we believe it to be mid 1900's or sooner.

The small framed bas relief depicts "arrows in a quiver" (used by Cupid to pierce people with love) and a stylized, "flaming torch" (used to set peoples hearts on fire). This "trophy" as it is called, represents love. Ribbons and flowers encompass both.

This charming plaque can be placed upon a table on a stand, or hung on a wall.
