LOUIS F. SWIFT (1861-1937) Meat packer. The son of Gustavus Swift Sr., the founder of Swift and Co., Louis, along with his brothers, developed the company into a billion dollar a year business. Louis Swift went on to serve as the company's Chairman of the Board. Document Signed. One page, 8 3/8 "" x 10 3/4"". No place. July 1917. The document is a partly printed proxy in which Swift appoints a proxy to vote in his stead on his shares of Irving Natinoal Bank stock. Boldy signed at conclusion by Swift. Very Fine.
