Inventor of photographic equipment (1864–1948) who, along with his brother Auguste, developed the cinematographe in 1893, and showed the first motion pictures using film projection in 1895; they also invented the Autochrome screen plate for color photography in 1903. Letter to Gabriel-Jean-Francoise Baixe, the president of the Academie du Var, thanking him for relaying news that he had been unanimously voted into the association. In fine condition.
