In part: “This is to confirm our understanding of the arrangement we have made to loan you Mr. William Haines to play the leading male part or role of ‘The Thrill Hunter’ in a picture you are to produce, with an all star cast, known as ‘The Thrill Hunter,’ directed by Frank Strayer…You agree to pay us for Mr. Haines’ services the sum of two hundred fifty dollars…per week.” Three filing punch holes at the top edge, staple holes at upper left corner, light diagonal crease passing through the middle of Mayer’s name, and expected office wear, otherwise fine condition.
