Lot of two original handwritten letters from a J. I. Eaton to his father, both from Tombstone, A.T. and dated April 30th, 1880 and Sept. 30, 1880; both in very good and readable condition; the contents of theletters give a fascinating glimpse of life in the “Town Too Tough To Die” and were written at a time the Earps, Doc Holliday and the Clanton gang were all in town; Eaton tells his father of being swindled in a mineclaim deal, of being robbed in Tucson, getting married in Tombstone and of preparing to sell his interest in a store and moving to Socorro for better business prospects. Great first-hand account of Tombstoneactivities at its peak. Est.: $200-$400.

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
