Lot of two German military swords and metal scabbards, from a consignment that descended from a WW II GI veteran who shipped these and other war souvenirs home in wooden P-47 rocket crates. These swords are in untouched condition, one with a lion’s head brass pommel, the other a plain grip; the lion’s head sword has an etched blade in fair condition with rayskin & wire wrapped grip and worn scabbard; the more plain sword has a plain blade in overall good condition with rayskin & wire wrapped grip and overall good scabbard. Reportedly taken in the area of Bonn, Germany. Est.: $150-$300.
