Lot of two German bayonets with leather scabbards and a U.S. bayonet with metal scabbard, all in untouched condition and per the consignor, from a family relative who served in the European Theater during WW II (bringing souvenirs back to the U.S via shipping in wooden P-47 rocket crates. The two German pieces have brass grips and single hook cross guards with the lug and locking channel on the other side of the grip, leather scabbards with brass throats and tips; one is marked “Soligen” the other bayonet is unmarked; the U.S. marked bayonet and scabbard is a desirable bayonet and metal scabbard for a Krag rifle, in overall good untouched condition with the blade dated “1897”, metal hanger still present.
