Lot of two. German Figural bottle opener in the shape of a mermaid with folding tool. Marked “Ges. Geschutzt” meaning “design patent legally registered”. Hilt shows a figural mermaid with silver coloration on celluloid scales. There is a good snap to the tool, and no snap to the corkscrew. The second piece is a figural unmarked two-bladed pocket knife with nude female front and back with celluloid scales. Blades are unsharpened with good spring. Circa approx. 1890-1910.
