Lot of three items including a one-piece ivory and German Silver quill cutter marked “J. Nowill & Sons, Sheffield”. Approx. 3-1/2” overall (closed) with one marked pen blade with a lazy spring. Circa approx. 1840’s. Also a four-bladed pocket knife marked “William Rodgers Sheffield England”. On the obverse, “I cut my way” is stamped on the obverse of all four blades except the master blade, marked “Stainless Steel. A large pen blade, a small pen blade, a coping blade, and a manicure blade. Approx. 3-1/2” with ivory scales, German silver pins and escutcheon, milled German silver liners, and file-worked backspring. The blades are unsharpened. With leather pouch. Circa approx. 1920’s to 1930’s. The third item is a six-bladed unequal end pocket knife, approx. 3-1/4” overall. The unsharpened blades include a master blade, three smaller pen blades. Marked are William Rodgers, Sheffield England”, “I cut my way” and “Stainless Steel”. Also a pipe reaming blade and a manicuring blade. Hilt shows milled German silver liners, pins, and escutcheon.
