Lot of original documents and a cabinet photo related to John Baty who served the U.S. Naval Service during the Civil War from 1864 to 1865 including his framed Certificate of Discharge, his Bureau of Pensions certificate to widow, Margaret Baty who began receiving death benefits in 1914 and a cabinet photo marked “Will Baty” on the back (likely John and Margaret’s son); all in overall very good condition. Would be interesting to further research seaman Baty and his service tothe Union. Est.: $100-$200.
