B) Receiver only. This receiver is identified and pictured in Eugene Myszkowski's book THE WINCHESTER-LEE RIFLE (pages 48 and 51, book included in this lot) as being full factory finished and marked but never assembled into a rifle. Myszkowski explains that this is one of "700 receivers never assembled into rifles; that is, the serial number was never posted as received in the warehouse or sold." The hardened screw intrudes into the two line Winchester legend on the left side of the receiver.
