1) Original WWII German Nazi Party DDAC MEMBER’S VEHICLE PENNANT. The DDAC, “Der Deutsche Automobil-Club. A linen construction pennant, 11 1/2" across with a 7 3/4" tall hoist edge. Printed to both sides of its white field is a black eagle, with “D.D.A.C.” to its breast, and a mobile swastika within a red circle in its talons. The eagle and swastika are surrounded by a dual oval, from whose cardinal points extend red bands with black edging immediately beyond them. The edges of the pennant are reinforced with double stitching, and its hoist edge has a 20mm wide tunnel loop sewn to it. A nickel-silver plated metal spring clip protrudes from the top of the tunnel loop, and a nickel-silver plated alloy hook exits the other end. The flag is unmarked and is in very good condition with no tearing, or fading. 2) Third Reich DLV vehicle pennant. On March 25, 1933 the DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband = German Air Sports Association) was created as a civilian sports organisation, the umbrella organisation of all air-related sports. However, from the very beginning, the DLV was used to secretly train its members for future roles in the newly emerging Luftwaffe, a breach of the terms of the Versailles Treaty. Complete with rope and manufacturer tag; Fahnenrichter, Gegr. 1869 Köln. Rare. Pennant has many moth nips
