Lot of Two (2) U.S. Fraternal Swords: 1.) Crown on top of globe pommel, leather-covered grip with flat stippled wire wrapping, decorative ''S'' shaped guard with crown, etched decorated blade named to ''Thomas J. Griggs''. In nickel-plated scabbard with ornate high relief fittings. Blade measures 27'', overall length is 35'', maker marked to ''Harding Uniform Regalia Co., Boston, Mass. Overall in good condition. Fittings retaining some of their gold gilt finish, grip leather in nice shape, and blade with light age graying and minor rust stains. Scabbard has some rust and losses to nickel plated finish. 2.) Crown on top of globe pommel, leather-covered grip with flat stippled wire wrapping, decorative ''S'' shaped guard with crown, etched decorated blade named to ''H. K. Peer''. In nickel-plated scabbard with ornate high relief fittings. Blade measures 29'', overall length is 37'', maker marked by the ''Henderson Ames Co., Kalamazoo, Mich. Overall in poor condition with scuffs to the leather grip, dark rust patina to blade, dark rust patina to scabbard, and losses of the gilt finish on the fittings. Est.: $200-$300/lot.
