Lot of Two (2) American Lever Action Longarms: (1) Winchester Model 1894 Saddle-Ring Carbine, #533803, .30 WCF (.30-30) cal., 20'' round barrel marked with maker's name, address, patent dates, nickel steel/smokeless powder info, and ''30 W.C.F.'' at left; receiver has right loading gate, left saddle-ring stud (ring missing), marked ''Model 1894/Winchester'' on top tang, ser. no. bottom front; two-piece oil-stained walnut stocks, forend with single barrel band, matching buttstock with carbine buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1910. Condition is good, metal retains no original finish but an overall dark brown, pitted surface, mostly clear markings. Wood shows hard use with scattered cracks and losses, top tang was broken and welded, stock wrist with wood screw reinforcement. Action functions; bore is surprising good showing light frosting and sharp rifling. (C&R) (2) Marlin Model 1889 Rifle, #24360, .32 WCF cal., 24'' octagonal barrel with buckhorn sights, marked with maker's name, address, 1887 patent date and ''32W'' on top flat; receiver has right loading gate, ser. no. bottom front; two-piece oil-finished walnut stocks, the forend with steel nosecap, the buttstock with curved steel buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1889. Condition is good to very good, the barrel and tube are a smooth blue-brown with traces of original blue, balance of the metal is gunmetal gray with scattered light-to-medium pitting. Stocks are replacements with two gouges at right side forearm and most of a smooth finish. Action functions; bore shows overall moderate etching and good rifling. (Antique) Est.: $500-$900/lot.
