<B>Lot of Three World War II Posters</B></I>, including:<B><BR>1943 “The Atlantic Charter” Poster</B></I> Office of War Information No. 50 printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office. A 20” x 27” black-and-white poster listing the eight principles of the joint declaration for the postwar world issued at the Atlantic Conference in Newfoundland by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill on August 14, 1941. The Atlantic Charter paved the way for the U.S. support of the war effort against the Nazis. The poster is in very good condition with some creasing and two one-inch border tears (one of which has been repaired on the verso with archival tape).<BR><B>1942 “More Production” Poster</B></I> War Production Board No. A-11 printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office. A 28.5” x 40” duotone poster depicting Hirohito, Mussolini, and Hitler being victoriously pursued down a slope by the giant snowball of increasing U.S. war production. The poster is in very good condition with minor chipping on the top and right borders. <BR><B>1942 “Pour It On!” Poster</B></I> War Production Board No. A-14 printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office. A 28.5” x 40” duotone poster depicting the powerful forging of U.S. aircraft, ships and submarines for the war effort.
