Lot of Seven U.S. Army Militia and Regalia Swords
The lot consists of: 1) U.S. "Patton" Saber manufactured by L.F. & C. with 1918 dated blade. The saber is in fair condition and lacks a scabbard. 2) Civil War M1860 light calvary saber with unmarked blade. The saber is in poor condition with a broken guard and chipped grip and lacks a scabbard. 3) Post-War U.S. M1902 Officer's saber with German blade. The saber is complete with scabbard and is in very good condition. 4) Helmet pummel Militia NCO sword with bone grip, brass cruciform counter-guard, lagnets and 28-inch blade. The sword has a brass scabbard with two suspension rims and is in good condition. 5) Helmet pummel Militia NCO sword with fluted bone grip, brass pummel, cruciform counter-guard and lagnets and 28 inch blade. The sword has no scabbard and is in good condition. 6) Eagle pommel militia NCO sword with scabbard. The sword has a nickel plated hilt and scabbard, fluted bone grip, cruciform guard with lagnets and 28-inch, undecorated straight blade. The nickel-plated scabbard has two suspension rings and a cast drag. Overall condition is good. 7) Knight's Templar fraternal sword, with Knight's helm pommel, cast cross is crown device on the lagnet, cruciform counter guard, gold-washed, acid etched, 28-inch blade and gold plated steel scabbard with cast drag and two suspension rings. The sword is in good overall condition.
