<B>Revolutionary War Officers and Staff under George Washington </B></I> This lot of five documents includes:<BR><B>Joseph Reed Bank Draft Signed</B></I> 1 page, 7.25” x 4”, Philadelphia, April 1, 1779. Written in another hand but signed “<I>Jos. Reed / President”</B></I> as President of Pennsylvania’s Supreme Executive Council. <I> </B></I>Joseph Reed (1741-1785) served as Washington’s military secretary. <B>Condition</B></I>: good with folds, some staining and corner chips<BR><B>Robert H. Harrison ALS,</B></I> 3 pages, 6” x 7.5”, March 12, 1788. This letter written by Washington aide Robert H. Harrison (1745-1790) is boldly signed <I>“Rob: H: Harrison”</B></I>. <B>Condition</B></I>: fair-good with staining, a tear at the spine, and a 1-inch hole left by the original wax seal<BR><B>Ralph Izard ALS</B></I> 3 pages, 7.5” x 9.75”, New York, October 19, 1789, signed <I>“Ra. Izard.” </B></I><B>Condition</B></I>: very good with folds and a slight bit of browning at the edges<BR><B>Aaron Ogden Transportation Receipt Signed</B></I> Two pages, 7.75” x 6.25”, July 25, 1800. Partly written in another hand, this receipt signed <I>“Aa. Ogden”</B></I> by Continental Army officer Aaron Ogden (1756-1839) dates to his tenure as a lieutenant colonel in the new U.S. Army (1799-1800). In his later years, he continued as a transportation executive, running a steamship company that eventually was bankrupted by competition from James Fulton and Robert Livingston. <B>Condition</B></I>: good with folds, some staining and minor wear at the top edge<BR><B>Tobias Lear ALS,</B></I> 1 page, 7.75” x 9.75”, July 22, 1816, written less than two months before his death. At the time of writing, Lear was serving as Secretary of War in the James Madison administration. Signed <I>“Your Mo. Obed.
