Lot of Mexican War era collector’s lot featuring original newspapers telling of the battle of Buena Vista and other significant events. Circa. 1847. Also a 19th century steel engraving of General Winfield Scott, original engraving by H. S. Sadd, published by John Neale, New York. The image is in good condition with some staining and spotting from acid, but generally good. Along with a modern print on canvas of General Zach Taylor measuring approx. 14-1/2”(h) by 11-1/2(w) nicely framed. Est: $300 - $600
