Lot of Eight (8) Bayonets with Scabbards: 1.) German Kar 98k (M1884-98), marked "F1ccf" and "3196"on the blade, "0082"on scabbard. Blade is unsharpened. Condition is good overall. Scabbard with a few moderate dents. 2.) Modified/Shortened German SG 98-05, marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER A.G./OBERNDORF a.N". Condition is fair showing heavy use to bayonet and scabbard. Comes with a reproduction black leather frog in excellent condition. 3.) Shortened/Modified German SG98-05, marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER A.G./OBERNDORF a.N". Condition is fair showing heavy use to bayonet and scabbard. Comes with a reproduction black leather frog in excellent condition. 4.) Belgian Export type long bayonet, marked "6307" on end of the pommel, 15.1"blade. Condition is fair with patina and sharpening to blade. Dark patina to pommel. Scabbard with scattered dents and patina. 5.) Turkish Mauser Model 38, marked "3855" on the cross guard. Condition is poor with heavy use and wear to bayonet and scabbard. Pins are missing and throat is loose inside scabbard. 6.) Yugoslavian M1948, marked "NPEAY3EKE 44". Matching numbered scabbard. Condition is fair with darkening to blade and cracks to handle. Scabbard with dents and patina. Blade will not seat fully into scabbard. 7.) Czech VZ.22, marked "E(rampart lion)23" and "ZSQ", with"3015"on the pommel. Condition is about good with patina to the metal and handling marks and darkening to the grips. 8.) Austrian M1895, marked with "(Austro Hungarian eagle)" and "F.G./GY." Condition is fair with wear, sharpening, and nicks to blade. Comes with a Swedish brown leather frog, in good condition. Est.: $250-$400/lot.
