<B>Lot of Colonial American Business Documents.</B></I> A variety of business and legal documents dating from the Colonial period including a one page document dated 1771 settling the estate of Thomas Darroch of Philadelphia, toned, especially at the creases, slight chipping to edges, else very good; a one page receipt for “<I>Sixty Eight Pounds1/6</B></I>” credited to Conrad Weiser with the cryptic comment “<I>I wish you were here to advise the Legislature in what manner to give their Assistance to the Indians</B></I>”, significant toning to the paper, some archival tape repairs, and the usual fold creases, else good; a one page rent receipt document with various dates from 1774 to 1782 for “<I>grounds rent</B></I>”, with some splits in the folds, some blooming to the ink, else good condition; a one page receipt with various endorsements on the verso, dated March 6, 1767, “<I>Please to pay Mr. Alex Donald One hundred pounds for which his rect. Shall be Suffi'ct.</B></I>”, archival repairs on the verso, fold creases, else very good; and a one page ledger document dated February 26, 1773, ledgering expenses for such items as rum, tea, “<I>bretches</B></I>” sic , wine, etc., archival tape repairs on verso, with the usual fold creases, else very good. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
