Embossed block decoration and tooled edges. Good. Edgewear, scratches and staining; foxing throughout 2.  BRADY, WILLIAM. The Kedge-Anchor; or, Young Sailor's Assistant. Battered overall; cloth is missing from the front board and most of spine, front and back boards are nearly detached, loose front pages, foxing, toning, staining throughout. 3. Red, white, blue, gray cloth with gilt eagle shield with horses, quarter dark blue leather, gilt to spine. Photographic illustration throughout, fold-out present/attached at back. Mottled blue endpapers. Fair. Leather spine is split at hinge and starting to detach, covers are rubbed, some foxing throughout, but illustrations (on glossy paper) and map looks good. Previous owner's bookplate on pastedown, and signature on flyleaf. 4. DEVENS, R. M. Leather of spine is chipped, cracked, and stained; edgewear and some peeling of leather on covers; light soiling and staining on first several pages. 5. to 8. RIDPATH, JOHN CLARK. Brown, gold, red, marbled paper and half calf, applied red and black gilt labels to spines.  Poor-Fair. All have cracked/worn detached spine leather, and nearly detached covers that have edgewear and corner wear. However, all four volumes look clean inside, including marbled endpapers.  9. The leather is very rubbed overall, and mostly disintegrated on the spine (with underlying paper and string showing), corners worn, scratching. Covers are mostly detached. Pages are mostly clean, but for some occasional smudges.
