Lot of 9 authentic old newspapers with historic articles including the details of Abraham Lincoln’s death in the Boston Evening Gazette of April 15, 1865; the November 8, 1843 edition of the New York Daily Tribune which includes the announcement of Henry Clay running for President; the Evansville Daily Journal of August 14, 1860 which includes Lincoln-Douglas political articles; Boston’s New England Palladium & Commercial Advertiser dated April 11, 1815 discussing lots of Naval and political news; the Boston Patriot of August 5, 1815, mentioning the battle between napoleon and the Duke of Wellington and containing a notice for rewards offered for the apprehension of Army Deserters; an August 21, 1849 New York Herald including news of the day and “police blotter” stories; a Dec. 3, 1790 Pennsylvania Packet and Daily Advertiser with articles advertising slave auctions and a reward for a runaway slave girl; the Spirit Times of New York dated Sept, 4, 1847 covering a variety of topical issues and a New York Evening Telegram dated December 13, 1918, covering stories related to the winning of WW I.
