Lot of Seven (7) late 19th Century Michigan State GAR Badges and Ribbons: (1) 1888 dated Lansing, Mich. 10th Annual Encampment ribbon with medal, with L.G. Rutherford, Dept. Commander medal and original C.S. Cole maker's label on reverse. (2) 1890 dated 12th Annual Adrian, Mich. Encampment ribbon with medal: white ribbon with gold lettering, and red/gold Mich. banner that holds Coat of Arms medal in place. Back of medal reads ''Compliments of Woodbury Post 45''. (3) 1891 dated Detroit 25th Encampment medal with American flag ribbon; back reads ''Post 2 Philadelphia''. (4) 1899 dated 20th Annual Hillsdale, Mich. 2nd Regiment Infantry badge, celluloid button with Mich. Coat of Arms, blue ribbon with gold lettering. Both with Whitehead & Hoag Co. maker's label to reverse. (5) 1897 dated 19th Annual 2nd Lansing, Mich. Infantry badge, with attached wood button with 2nd Inf. insignia painted on front. (6) 1886 dated 8th Annual Mich. Encampment ribbon, part of which reads ''Edward Pomeroy, Post No. 48, Jackson, 1886''. Includes eagle and flag decoration. (7) 1894 dated 16th Annual Owosso, Mich. Encampment representative ribbon. Reverse with C.S. Cole maker's mark in silver lettering. Conditions range from good to fine overall. White ribbons with light discoloration. 1890 Adrian badge with detached banner. Others with minor fraying commensurate with age. Est.: $300-$500/lot.
