<B>Lot of Early American Letters and Documents.</B></I> This lot consists of a diverse lot of six Colonial American documents and letters including: a one page, 8” x 6”, letter written from Blooming Grove, dated December 22, 1775 from Samuel Mapes, toned, chipped at the edges, with the usual fold creases, else very good; a one page 6.25” x 7.75”, letter dated January 12, 1749 from Ebenezer Flagg, toned, ragged at the bottom margin, with the usual fold creases, else very good; a one page, 7.5” x 7”, letter dated September 12, 1775 from Dummer Jewett, toned, with the usual fold creases and small hole where the wax seal was affixed, else very good; a one page document, 6.5” x 7.25”, dated August 27, 1762 signed by Henry Ward, tone with the usual fold creases, else very good; a one page, 4.75” x 6” letter dated April 16, 1709 from Edward W. Baker, integral address leaf missing, toned, with the usual fold creases, else very good; and a three page, 7.5” x 9.25”, letter dated March 13, 1769 from Ebenezer Hazard, with a small section missing from the third page, toned, with splits at the creases, old archive repairs, with the usual fold creases, else good. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
