Lot of 5 Civil War era images including 3 tintypes (2 in cases, 1 in its gold colored frame only) and 2 “stock” CDVs of Union officers. The cased images include a bearded soldier standing by a colored American flag (image in fair to goodcondition); the other cased image shows a soldier displaying a rifle and is in overall good condition; the 3rd image without case is particularly interesting as the Union soldier has what appears to be a Colt 1860 Army in his beltand a sword in his right hand, while displaying an unusual revolver in his left hand that may be a Confederate battlefield “pick-up” or capture given the appearance of the recoil shield area and the way he is holding it for the camera.
