Lot of 4 cartridge boxes, one Civil War rifleman’s type with brass plate marked on interior flap “J. T. Condit, New York”. In good to very good condition showing some normal aging, slight folding, small tatters, etc. Contains liners, some paper cartridges. Along with a cartridge box with plate shows “SNY” for State of New York interior marked Boyd, Manufacturers of Accoutrements, Boston. Missing tab. Some serious cracking and folding, fair only. Small pistol type cartridge box, civil war era, black leather, no maker’s name. Good condition, some normal aging. And an early cartridge box with wooden lock, drilled for 20 cartridges of .50 caliber cartridges, no maker’s marking, tab missing, belt loops ripped, fair to poor. Est: $400 - $800
