Lot of 3 mid-19th Century Revolvers.
a) Belgian Proofed Percussion Revolver by Francotte, Adam’s Pat., #1243, .45 caliber or 11 mm, 6” octagon barrel, 5 shot, works well single action, hammer does not work double action, circa 1850s. CONDITION: bore is dark with strong rifling, iron is plum brown with spots of original blue, one-piece bag shaped walnut grip is very good.
b) English Adams Pat. Percussion Revolver by Deane, Adams & Deane, .45 caliber or 11 mm, 7” octagon barrel, circa 1850’s. CONDITION: bore is dark with strong rifling, metal is dark plum overall, frame is engraved, action is frozen, 1 piece grips are excellent.
c) Belgian Pin-fire Revolver by E. Lafaucheux, S/N 81800, 10 mm, 6 ½” barrel, vine engraving, checked and leaf carved grips, replaced front sight, circa 1850’s. CONDITION: bore is very good, metal is brown overall, grips are excellent, needs trigger spring, does not function double action.
