Front outer hinge is split and board is nearly detached, covers worn and scratched, cover gilt mostly rubbed off, worn corners, light foxing, toning. Period newspaper clippings have been pasted on the front cover endpaper with bookplate remnant, name written on title page. Vol. 2: Fair. Covers worn and scratched, cover gilt mostly rubbed off, light foxing, toning, owner name written on the title page and first section page. On the front cover endpaper there are hand-written notes/transcriptions from grave markers.
