Lot of 1 brass shoe buckle (encrusted) and 1 brass uniform button, with original certificates. 15.5 grams total; 1-5/8" and 3/4". Both very dark but solid, no noteworthy design visible but very recognizable pieces, the buckle with puffy encrustation around its iron hasp in the middle. Note this French shipwreck is important as it sank while engaged against the British in the American Revolutionary War. With original Caribe Salvage certificates from 1977. From: Scipion, sunk in 1782 off the Dominican Republic
