Lot consisting of 2 original wanted posters. Number 1 shows a photograph of George Washington Dunham, ex-convict Folsom prison, number 4940 with his description and information as wanted for murder. The poster alleges Dunham shot and killedThomas D. Coppock in the city of Oakland on May 27, 1907 issued by A. Wilson chief of police Oakland, California. The flyer shows punch holes for being placed in a wanted book and small losses and folding from being sent by mail. Measures 10½”x approximately 8 ¼”. Number 2 is a wanted poster for assault to commit murder with $250 reward issued June 24, 1910 at Berkeley, California describing a man 5’10” to 5’11” maybe Swedish. Penciled information on side of posterand shows punch holes from being placed in a wanted book and folding from being sent by mail. Measures 10 1/2” x 8 1/4”.
