Lot consisting of 2 Civil War period pouches. The 1st is a Pouch for pistol size caps showing somewhat crude manufacture probably Confederate in fair condition with damage to the flap, normal aging and brass mount with no markings. The 2nd is a rifle size pouch for paper cartridges with tin liner, no markings and in rough condition, missing tab, scalloped front flap with slight over hang also possibly Confederate. The pouch measures approximately 4 1/2” x 7” and is nearly 2” deep.The William A. Gary collection consigned by his estate. Est.: $300-$600
