CAPTAIN SCARLET AND THE MYSTERONS (TV SERIES, 1967-1968) - Ken Turner's Personal Annotated Pilot Episode Shooting Script

Director Ken Turner's personal annotated shooting script for the pilot episode of Gerry Anderson's sci-fi TV series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.

The script - entitled "The Mysterons" - is credited to Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and is 66 pages long, plus a title page, foreword and cast and set lists. It is annotated throughout in blue ink by Turner, who directed eight episodes of the show and worked closely with the Andersons on other projects. "Ken Turner" and "KT" are both handwritten on the card cover, which also bears the episode's title.

The pilot script differs from the episode which eventually aired as "The Mysterons", notably at the end when Captain Scarlet's biology as a Mysteron double is explained. The cover has some minor staining and wear from age and production use. Dimensions: 33 cm x 20.5 cm x 1 cm (13" x 8" x 1/2")
