A BRIDGE TOO FAR (1977) - Richard Attenborough's Personal Heavily Annotated Shooting Script

Richard Attenborough's personal heavily annotated shooting script from his World War II epic A Bridge Too Far. With an all-star cast including Sean Connery and Laurence Olivier, the film depicted Allied attempts to capture several bridges in the Netherlands.

Dated "10.11.75", this first-draft script is written by Academy Award& reg;-winning screenwriter William Goldman. It comprises 175 pages bound in a crimson soft leather cover, which is enclosed in a green leather-bound file. Both the script cover and the file display the film title embossed in gold. Most pages of the script feature Attenborough's extensive annotations in blue ink - including dialogue revisions and production notes, the last of which is "Abide with Me". The script cover exhibits signs of wear, but the lot is otherwise in very good condition. Originally sold as part of Attenborough's "Both Sides of the Camera" auction in 2015. Dimensions: 32 cm x 27 cm x 3 cm (12 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1 1/4")

Estimate: GBP 3000 - 6000 M
