BRAVEHEART (1995) - Scottish War Hammer

A war hammer from Mel Gibson's 1995 historical war epic Braveheart. William Wallace (Gibson) and Stephen of Ireland (David O'Hara) wielded war hammers at the start of the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Wallace used his hammer to knock an English cavalryman off his horse and impale his skull.

The hammer is made of wood, varnished dark brown, with a solid metal head that is attached to the shaft by two long pieces of metal. The hammer has a robust and weighty feel. It displays minor signs of production wear, including rust spots on the metal and scratches to the wood. Dimensions: 70 cm x 24.5 x 4 cm (27 1/2" x 9 3/4" x 1 1/2")
