BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: March 1981 Production Storyboard Binder

A storyboard binder from the production of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. The storyboards depict approximately the first half of the film, including Leon (Brion James) and Rachael's (Sean Young) Voight-Kampff tests; Roy Batty's (Rutger Hauer) interrogation of Chew (James Hong); and Deckard's (Harrison Ford) confrontation with Hassan (Ben Astar). This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

The binder is dated "04.03.81", five days before the commencement of principal photography. It features 107 hole-punched pages of printed illustrations and scene notes, with two or three storyboards per page. The binder has a black plastic spine and a clear plastic cover. The front page features the name of unit production manager John W. Rogers, with a note from associate producer Ivor Powell stating that the storyboards are confidential and subject to change. Dimensions: 28 cm x 21.5 cm x 1.5 cm (11" x 8 1/2" x 1")
