BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Two Sherman Labby Storyboard Books - Replicant Factory and Leon (Brion James) Hotel

Two books of storyboard dyelines from the production of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. These printed dyelines were drawn by production illustrator Sherman Labby. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

Each booklet has a blue card cover labelled "Ivor", in reference to the film's associate producer, Ivor Powell. There are, on average, two storyboards per page, and below each storyboard is a scene note. One booklet has 15 pages and depicts Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) and Pris (Daryl Hannah) emerging from a replicant disposal factory - a sequence which was never filmed. The other booklet has 22 pages and depicts Deckard (Harrison Ford) and Gaff (Edwards James Olmos) visiting Leon's (Brion James) hotel. The books display minor signs of production wear commensurate with their age. Dimensions: 31 cm x 31 cm x 1 cm (12 1/4" x 12 1/4" x 1/2")

Additional Provenance: This lot originally came from the personal collection of Ivor Powell, the film's associate producer.

Estimate: GBP 3000 - 6000 M
