BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Two Sherman Labby Storyboard Books - Deckard (Harrison Ford) Intro and Spinner Journey

Two books of storyboard dyelines from the production of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. The printed dyelines were drawn by production illustrator Sherman Labby. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

Each booklet comprises a black plastic ring binder and a blue card cover labelled "Ivor", in reference to the film's associate producer, Ivor Powell. There are nine pages of storyboards in each booklet, with an average of two storyboards per page, and each storyboard has a scene note. One booklet depicts the night sequence in which Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is introduced. The other depicts Deckard's spinner journey to see his supervisor, Bryant (M. Emmet Walsh). The booklets display minor signs of production wear commensurate with their age. Dimensions: 31 cm x 31 cm x 1 cm (12 1/4" x 12 1/4" x 1/2")

Additional Provenance: This lot originally came from the personal collection of Ivor Powell, the film's associate producer.

Estimate: GBP 3000 - 6000 M
