BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Three Panels for Sebastian's Armadillo Van

Three of Sebastian's (William Sanderson) van panels from Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Sebastian's van featured rectangular panels along its side, resembling an armadillo's shell, and he drove the vehicle to his home, where he met the replicant Pris (Daryll Hannah). These components originate from the collection of vehicle customiser Gene Winfield, who worked alongside visual futurist Syd Mead in creating the vehicles for the movie. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

Made of metal and spray-painted black, each panel features a trapezium-shaped recess at its centre, adjacent to which is a smaller recess. The lot exhibits signs of wear from production use and age, including scratches and abrasions. Dimensions (each): 111 cm x 19 cm x 2 cm (43 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 1000 - 2000 M
