BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Voight-Kampff Folder Containing Sheets of Questions

A Voight-Kampff folder containing sheets of questions from Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. The Voight-Kampff test was used by the LAPD's blade runners to identify replicants. The machine measured physical responses, including heart rate and pupillary dilation, to emotionally provocative questions. It typically took 20 to 30 cross-referenced questions to detect a Nexus-6 replicant. In the film's opening sequence, the test was used by Holden (Morgan Paull) on Leon (Brion James), and in a later sequence, by Deckard (Harrison Ford) on Rachael (Sean Young). This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

This Voight-Kampff test comprises 18 pages of mathematical, linguistic and behavioural multiple-choice questions, contained in a silver-coloured card cover labelled "Voight Kampff". The cover displays minor creasing. Dimensions: 29 cm x 23 cm x 0.5 cm (11 1/2" x 9" x 1/4")
