BRUCE LEE - Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do Center-line Theory Drawing - A center-line theory drawing by acclaimed martial artist Bruce Lee, created during the development of his revolutionary martial arts philosophy, Jeet Kune Do, or "The Way of the Intercepting Fist". This rare hand-drawn illustration delineates Lee's explanation of the center-line theory, which propounds that a fighter should try to control an opponent's center line.

The drawing is rendered in blue and red ink on a single sheet of paper, exhibited within a clear plastic cover. It displays different hand and body positions to correctly parry an opponent's attacks. It also features several annotations in Lee's distinctive flowing handwriting, including "Parries - energy toward opponent, rather than away".

This lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity detailing its history and expanding upon center-line theory. The paper on which the drawing is rendered has yellowed with age. Dimensions: 11.5" x 9" x 0.25" (29 cm x 23 cm x 0.5 cm)
