BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Spinner Front Spotlight Assembly

A spinner front spotlight assembly from Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Conceived by visual futurist Syd Mead, the film's vehicles had several memorable features, including a row of spotlights across their front. This component originates from the collection of vehicle customiser Gene Winfield, who worked alongside Mead in creating the vehicles for the movie. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

This assembly comprises a metal strip with a metal bracket screwed to each end and purple wire underneath. Sixteen white plastic sockets line the strip, 11 of which contain candle bulbs. The lot exhibits signs of wear, including rusting, scratches and fissures. Dimensions: 40 cm x 10.5 cm x 8 cm (15 3/4" x 4" x 3 1/4")

Estimate: GBP 800 - 1600 M
