BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Windscreen Panel from Deckard's (Harrison Ford) Sedan

A windscreen panel from Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. The panel is from Deckard's (Harrison Ford) sedan and was attached to the windscreen's lower left corner. Deckard drove his sedan when he visited Sebastian's (William Sanderson) apartment and, in the film's original ending, when he escaped to the countryside with Rachael (Sean Young). This component originates from the collection of vehicle customiser Gene Winfield, who worked alongside visual futurist Syd Mead in creating the vehicles for the movie. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

This panel is one of several external panels that adorned the vehicle, giving it a sleek, futuristic appearance. Made of resin and painted silver, the trapezium-shaped piece features three perpendicular grooves, one of which has dual screw holes at each end. The item exhibits signs of wear from production use and age, including scratches and loss of paint. Dimensions: 60.5 cm x 38 cm x 3 cm (23 3/4" x 15" x 1 1/2")

Estimate: GBP 3000 - 6000 M
